Build with clarity.

Most new-construction projects don’t fail because of the builder. They fail because of what the client didn’t know to handle. We find what’s about to break, and fix it, before you sign.

A scored assessment across the five lenses where projects break, plus a discovery call with your consultant to walk through what it found.

What changes for you

From scattered to aligned.

Most clients arrive at a builder like this. SCATTERED · UNPREPARED · UNKNOWN Our clients arrive at a builder like this. CONFIRMED · ALIGNED · BUILD READY

You know what’s actually wrong

Not a vague feeling that something might be off. A specific, scored read of which of the five lenses applies to your project, before it becomes someone else’s problem to discover.

You know exactly how to fix it

The gap gets named, the work to close it is laid out, and your consultant walks each step with you. You stop guessing and start solving, on a timeline that’s yours, not a builder’s.

You arrive at your builder ready

Build Ready is a milestone, not a marketing claim. When you reach it, your builder meets a client whose finances are confirmed, decisions are aligned, vision is documented, and timeline is honest.

Where projects break

Five places almost every failed project went wrong.

Motivation
why you build
Decision-Making
how you choose
Finances
what you can afford
Timeline
when you build
Vision
what you build

Custom-build projects don’t usually fail because of bad builders. They fail because the client had a financial problem, or a decision-making problem, or a motivation, timeline, or vision problem, and nobody caught it before the contract was signed. These are the five lenses we look through. We find which one is yours, name it, and walk you through fixing it. The result isn’t that nothing goes wrong. It’s that the predictable problems don’t catch you off guard.

What $100 changes

The difference between guessing and knowing.

In less time than the first meeting with a builder takes, you go from "I think we’re ready" to a real, defensible answer.

You learn which of the five applies to you

Scored honestly across all five lenses. Report in your inbox in minutes. Not a vibe, a number.

Your consultant interprets it for you

A real person reads your file and tells you what your results actually mean. Not a templated PDF.

You leave with a clear next move

"Move forward into preparation." "Hold off and address X first." "You’re closer than you think." Whatever it is, it’s a decision you can make.

Who this is for

And who it isn’t.

This is for you if…

  • You’re planning new construction in the $500,000–$1,000,000 range.
  • You’re considering custom site-built or modular.
  • You don’t fully know what you don’t know, and you’d rather find out now than after you’ve committed to a builder.
  • You want someone to tell you the truth, not sell you a builder.

This may not be the right fit if…

  • You’re ready to build today and just need an introduction to a builder. The full program may be more than you need. A directory site might serve you just as well.
  • You’re remodeling, doing an addition, or building below $500,000.
  • You’ve already signed with a builder and the relationship is in motion.

Even if you’re not sure this is for you, the assessment is worth it just to know where you stand. If you have questions before committing, the common questions on our pricing page may help, or contact us directly.

From "I think we’re ready" to actually ready.

Most clients can’t tell us which of the five lenses is theirs. By the end of this path, they can, and so can their builder. Here’s what changes between now and then.

Start with the assessment. Your consultant walks you through the result.

The difference, in plain terms

What changes when you start here instead of with a builder.

The path, stage by stage

What changes for you at each step.

  1. i

    You take the assessment

You stop wondering and start measuring. The five lenses (motivation, decision-making, finances, timeline, vision) are each scored. Within minutes, you have a real number on each, and you know which of the five is most likely to break your project.

  2. ii

    You learn what it means

You stop interpreting it alone. A real person reads your file and walks you through it: what your scores actually say about your project, where you stand, and what makes sense next. By the end of the call, you have an honest answer to "are we ready?" Yes, no, or not yet.

  3. iii

    You fix what’s actually broken

You stop guessing what to work on. The specific gap your assessment found gets named, the work to close it is laid out, and your consultant walks each step with you. Not generic checklists. The actual conversations and decisions that need to happen, in the order that matters.

  4. iv

    You arrive at Build Ready

You stop hoping you’re prepared and you start knowing. Build Ready isn’t a checkpoint you pass. It’s a standard you meet, confirmed across all five lenses. When your builder hears the words, they mean something. So do you.

  5. v

    You meet the right builder

You stop picking from who you know. Custom shortlist for your project. Vetting done before you see a name. Personal introduction to the one we’d hand our own family to. Two no-charge re-matches if the relationship doesn’t hold.

This is what the Complete Path covers and the Preparation Path doesn’t: the most expensive decision in the project, and the only one you can’t reverse cheaply.

Your consultant
Your consultant
The person you’ll work with

One consultant. Every stage. No handoffs.

The person who reads your assessment is the same person on your discovery call, the same person reviewing your worksheets, the same person joining your check-ins, and the same person signing off on your Build Ready status. There’s no intake team and no closer.

This is the part most programs cut to save money. We don’t. Decisions about your project shouldn’t be made by someone who hasn’t met you, so they aren’t.

We’re paid by you, not by builders. That’s the only way to tell you the truth.

Two ways in

Where you start determines what we do.

If you have a builder

Referred by your builder

You were referred by a builder you already plan to work with. You take the assessment, walk the preparation path, and arrive at that builder genuinely ready. The Preparation Path is built for exactly this.

If you need a builder

Looking for a builder

You found us on your own and you don’t have a builder yet. You walk the same preparation path, and when you’re Build Ready, the search begins. Custom shortlist for your project. Vetting done before you see a name. Direct introduction. Two no-charge re-matches if the relationship doesn’t hold. The Complete Path covers both: the prep and the match.

Either way, the preparation work is the same. The only question is whether you need us to find your builder.

The standard we hold

Build Ready is earned, not granted. When you reach it, it’s because you’ve genuinely done the work, and the builder you meet will know it.

See where you stand.

Take the assessment

Find your problem. Fix it. Build.

Everyone starts with the same $100 assessment: the diagnosis. What you pay after that depends on what the diagnosis says, and whether finding the right builder is part of the work.

The diagnostic step. Everyone begins here.

Step one: for everyone
$100
The Build Readiness Assessment
The diagnostic step. Scored across the five lenses where projects fail, with a report in your inbox within minutes. Then a discovery call with your consultant to walk you through what it found, and an honest recommendation: a preparation path, which one, or that the timing isn’t right yet. Everyone starts here. No commitment beyond the assessment.

  • Decision-Making3.6 / 5.0
  • Finances2.4 / 5.0
  • Timeline3.2 / 5.0
  • Vision3.8 / 5.0
In this sample, Finances is the lens to address first. Your report will name yours.
The preparation paths

Both paths use the same consultant working with you across all five lenses, for as long as the fix genuinely takes. No fixed number of calls. No hourly meter. What differs is the situation you’re starting from, and whether finding the right builder is part of the work.

The Complete Path
$3,200
For clients who don’t have a builder yet.
  • Everything in the Preparation Path: same consultant, same five-area work, same Build Ready standard
  • A custom builder shortlist built around your specific project: budget, build type, style, timeline, and posture fit
  • Direct outreach and vetting on your behalf, with screening for fit before you ever see a name
  • Personal introduction to the builder we’d hand you to ourselves, plus alternates if the first introduction doesn’t land
  • Post-introduction support through the early builder conversations, so the relationship starts on solid ground
  • Two no-charge re-matches if the relationship doesn’t hold

The match itself is the most expensive decision in the project. Getting it wrong costs you years and tens of thousands. That’s what the difference in price buys.

The Preparation Path
$1,750
For clients who already have their builder.
  • Your starting point: the assessment, with the builder relationship already in place
  • A consultant focused entirely on readying you for that specific relationship
  • Progress updates shared with your builder so they know what you’ve worked on
  • You arrive at the builder you chose as a client who’s actually done the work

You’ve already solved the hardest decision. This is about arriving at it ready.

Not sure which is yours? Your consultant will walk you through the best path for your situation during your discovery call.

Common questions

Before you start.

What exactly does the $100 assessment get me?
A diagnosis. Your project scored across the five lenses where new construction projects most often fail, a report in your inbox within minutes, and a discovery call with your consultant to walk you through what it found. The call isn’t a sales pitch. It’s the answer to "is what I think is wrong actually what’s wrong?"
Is the call really free?
Yes. The $100 covers the assessment and the discovery call. Your consultant uses it to give you a straight recommendation: a preparation path, which one, or that you’re not ready yet and shouldn’t spend the money. Sometimes the most useful thing they tell you is "not now."
What’s the difference between the two paths?
The preparation is identical in both. The difference is the builder match. The Complete Path ($3,200) adds a custom builder shortlist, direct outreach and vetting, personal introduction, post-introduction support through the early conversations, and two no-charge re-matches if the relationship doesn’t hold. The Preparation Path ($1,750) is for clients who already have their builder and just need to arrive ready. If you need help finding the right builder, the Complete Path is the one.
Why isn’t the program priced by the hour or by the session?
Because you’re not buying hours. You’re buying readiness. We work with you until you’re genuinely prepared, in whatever way your situation requires. The price reflects the outcome, not the amount of time it takes to get there.
Is the $100 assessment separate from the path price?
Yes. The assessment is its own step with its own value: an honest picture of where you stand and a real conversation about it.
What if the assessment says I’m not ready?
Then your consultant tells you that, plainly, on the discovery call, and what it would take to change it. "Not yet" is a real outcome, and for some clients it’s the most valuable thing they learn. You’re never pushed into a path that doesn’t make sense for you.
What if my builder doesn’t work out?
If you came through the Complete Path and we introduced your builder, we re-engage. Two no-charge re-matches are included if the relationship doesn’t hold, and additional re-matches are available at a reduced rate. If you came through the Preparation Path with your own builder, the relationship is between you and them. But if you’re rethinking your builder choice, your consultant is the right first call to walk through what’s actually happening and what makes sense next.
